I've got an older B+W KR 1.5 filter that I want to replace the glass in. There are no notches anywhere for a spanner wrench. Does anyone know how these things come apart?
Thanks,
Ari

My guess would be that the front piece with the writing screws in...get rubber gloves or some other rubber backed material to grip the front and unscrew it...

Thanks, I'll give that a try. I'm going to try to replace the 34.5mm skylight 1a filter glass with the glass from a B+W 34mm UV/IR cut filter, so I can use it on my Nikkor LTM lenses.

Please don't. Sell me the skylight filter ...
I can give you an A36 push-on filter where you can replace the glass with a spanner.
