Finally showed up today

Ended up getting both the body and the 50mm Nokton for $450 shipped. So far, my impression of both pieces is that they're great equipment. Once I go into the darkroom and process the first roll, we'll know if that's true or not.

Now I just need to get a 35mm lens for it. I'd like the 35mm Leica Summicron pre-ASPH but that isn't happening.

Hmm.. the image is showing up as a link instead of an image. Oh well.

Here's the first shot from the first roll. I really need practice with focusing this thing. Anything shot at a wider aperture is misfocused. Oh well.

How come images I post show up as links and not images? Oh well, I'll edit the link below to be a proper link then...

I'm using the "IMG" button or manually typing the "IMG" and "/IMG" commands in brackets. Either way posts the image as a link instead of as an image... as if you used the URL command.

Natron, if you use the "Post Reply" button at the bottom of the thread to type your message, rather than the "Post Reply" text box that appears just below that button, then you're offered an opportunity to "point" to the location of the image on your hard drive, and it will be uploaded and appear with the message. Same with the "Quote" button. You'd probably discover this for yourself eventually. 😀
