First all film trip tomorrow !!

Hi all,

Well..... about a month ago, i started my journey back to Film Photography. This forum has been indispensable to me. Learnt a great deal from you guys !!! Thanks 😉

It started with a Hexar AF which arrived about a month ago and then there is the FE2 which arrived yesterday 😀

Have a trip planned this weekend and i summoned enough courage to go all film. So, will be bringing my Hexar AF which has a fixed 35mm lens and also the FE2 with a Nikkor 50mm f1.8. Shooting both B & W (C41) and also Reala. A bit scared and at the same time excited. Hope to report back with some decent pictures 😕

Don´t be scared, all will work fine! Enjoy the little machines and the mechanical interactions between you, the camera and the film.

I'm sure you will be much more involved in your shots and the results will be for sure remarkable. Besides, don't forget that a good B/W shot is much more "forgiving" than any digital negative.
Edit: I see you have the D700 as I have. Well.. here you won't need PP after 🙂 🙂 🙂

Let me just say that I have never operated a camera with a film advance lever before.

It was the first time with the Nikon FE2 yesterday and to borrow from Toyota 'Oh what a feeling!!!'

Also good to know that film B & W is more forgiving than digital files ;p

I have found that I actually enjoy more of the event/function/trip when I only carried a film camera as I was not too busy snapping away.

1. post them somewhere on the net where it can be referred to as a http://yada.yada.jpg reference (e.g. flickr, picasaweb, or your own website)

2. in your posts here..... embed that URL in between these tags
