I stopped caring what companies do, when they discontinued the contax g.
I was happy with the camera, it had the lenses I wanted so I just kept shooting it and when it broke I picked up another one from the auction site 🙂
the full frame thing was a big deal for me when I simply couldn't find the primes I wanted in smaller formats. Not the case anymore, so I happily "downgraded" to APS-C. As for megapixel count and extreme bokeh I'm past my point of sufficiency anyway and I have no need for more.
If Fuji spits out a full frame camera I will assess it on its merits as always but I will not tolerate compromises just for the sake of a bigger sensor. And there will be compromises, because bigger sensors put pressure on everything: size, cost, fps, buffer, battery life, image stabilisation, shutter sound, electronic shutter readout, lens design, AF speed... they all become more difficult.
