This is a lovely camera, I'm just beginning to explore it. The first thirty or so exposures from this morning's walk are exciting in how they differ from work I've done with the SLRs and the GXR.
Godfrey, from what I've seen I prefer the pictures you've been taking with the Ricoh GXR-M, but a new camera takes getting used to. From my own experience, my feeling is that the color accuracy of the GXR-M is better than that of the M8 or the M9, although a very knowledgeable reviewer tells me that the latter has more richness in the mid tones than the GXR-M but I haven't noticed that myself. Indeed, I find that the GXR-M files require less processing than those of the M8 and M8 to get the color I want.
I'll be interested in your eventual conclusions once you have more experience with the M9.
