I got mine too a few days ago 2 G1s with 90mm and 28mm And I own an M3 and an M2.Now I have decided to unload my M3 and try to get the G2 with 45mm.
This camera feels great and I got the first pictures today...some are even sharper than the 50mm summicron on the leica m3.

Its the general feel of the camera, its electronic but it makes me think as a photograher.I know I will love this camera.
the pictures and quality of the shots you posted are great, may I ask what film you use?

hey cameratos
thanks for the nice comment

it is shot on tri-x 400iso

i also thinking of buying a G2
having two cameras on you all the time that fit in a small bag is everything i need

i am sure you will enjoy the camera a lot

shoot and post

thanks again

Congrats, welcome to the club and prepare to be blown away by the sharpness of the 45 Planar!
The more I use the "classic" style rangefinders the more I appreciate the quickness of my G1. The AF and AE give you the real advantage of getting the shot instantly.

thanks guys for the warm welcome

here are some more domestic shots
from the first rolls

I have used my G1 with the 45 for almost two years. Now i recently upgraded my set with an extra body and the 21, 28, 45 and 90mm. I love them all! Before upgrading i thought i really wanted a leica, but i see that it would cost me a fortune. I'm looking forward to experiment more and use my new glass. The g system has its flaws but i couldnt find a better set for the price!
