Hi
Well today the weather looked good and I had arranged to see a photo exhibition by Edward Burtinski at the Perth Maritime Museum so thought it was a good time to try some shots on my new M8. I had with me a 28mm 2.8 and 75mm 2.5 and both were a joy to use.
Some of the images I have converted to B&W in CS3.
Hopefully these will show up OK...
Cheers

I have a couple of P&S cameras (a Canon G9 and Ricoh GX100) both great cameras and a ton of Pro Canon gear I use for work but there really is something that comes from using the M8 that I love. Maybe it's just the "rangefinder" as a system or maybe it's a Leica thing I'm not sure. All I know is I love the moments I capture with the M8.
It maybe a cliche but I remember one M photographer saying to me that using her Leica was like "putting a frame around life" and that's something I really feel when I see some of the images I get from the Leica.
It could be that I have had a couple of good glasses of Pinot and feel a little more passionate - who knows...

My Red Dot Glows For You
These were taken on Sunday in Perth all with the 75mm.
Stop it! Are you trying to give me GAS? I can't afford it...
I concur; very nice shots here with this lens.
