I bought my first Barnack some weeks ago.
A black II with matching Elmar from 1932.
I enjoy shooting with it very much and was sure to have it CLAd in January.
Last week I found a IIIc converted to IIIfBD ST on the official Leica forum,
which will get a complete overhaul and become my shooter.
The II will have to wait for it's treatment but definetly remain in my collection.
Here is one from the II, just for fun

Got word from Youxin yesterday, he's shipped out my IIIc Stepper after a CLA and parts swapping. Had it covered in GripTac too.
My 1942 CZJ Sonnars T 50/1.5 and 135/4.0 are jumping up and down on the doormat for it to arrive

Make sure you share some pictures when it arrives!
Looks like grip-tac cover, too?
.
Yes! Very grippy.

My first time with a Barnack - a 1946 Leica IIIc - was quite a long time ago, but only yesterday I forced myself to scan the negatives, which I'd like to share with you.
Both TriX in Rodinal
From a second (or third?) time:
Eastman Kodak 5231 in Neofin Blau

andreois,
I really like that last one. The way the sharpness falls off into the distance is great, makes the distance look like a painted theatre backdrape.
Me, I'm still waiting for my Stepper and will make sure I shoot some film once it arrives!

Thanks Johan! I still didn't quite get the hook of the lens (the canon 50/1.8) - sometimes the results are different from what I expected to get, but sometimes - like with this shot - it really sings..
2 Helen & xxlover - Thank you.. I do not visit this park too often since it is on the other side of the town, but every time there seems to bring a nice image.

M2 fan.
I have enjoyed this thread and I must say that beacuse of this thread and the fact I regret getting rid of my IIIa many yaers ago, as I type a IIIC/IIIFBDST sits across the table next to me, loaded with Ilford HP5. Its been some years since I loaded a leica, either my fingers have got fatter and my eye sight worse or I'm just out of practice
