Five New Mods at RFF

Amy is one of the best photographers in RFF. It's a great honor for all of us having her as a mod. Her photographs are truly exquisite.

Cheers,

Juan

Indeed, congrats to you all.

By the way (I ask this very gingerly in case I've missed something big), whatever happened to Kim?

Cheers
Jamie

Thanks to you, Stephen, for taking RFF over from
Jorge (Bless him) and making it roll and grow.

... and belated thanks to the tired old mods,
and the soon 2-B tired newbies.

Thank you many hands

Thank you many hands

My Granny used to say, "Many hands make light work."
Thanks to Joe, and then Joe and Ralph, for all their work. Now they have a little help.

Thank you new & older mods for shoudlering the work & responsibility.

"Many hands make light work" is the pucnhline to the story about the visiting Chinese professor who, when the lights went out in the middle of his lecturer on string theory, asked the audience first to hold up their left hands, then their right. Magically power was restored. When asked how he had done it...:D

(Edit) Let there be more light & less heat at RFF

Hey–thanks to everyone, and congratulations to the new mods. I'v enjoyed all your threads and posts, and I think you're fine choices for the job!

There is such a flow of "thank you" going around in this thread. Maybe it is contagious for a while. RFF has become my home away from home, sort of. My wife has learned to accept this fact.

I hope I don't spoil this if I just ask a question: will there be a change with the new moderators? Will they watch more over OT-discussions for example? Or is everything going on as usual and only the work is separated on more shoulders (that's what I prefer) ?

I've been wondering why this didn't happen earlier, but better late than never :)

edit: realized that someone might have understood my comment as criticism to older mods, which it wasn't. meant that more eyes watching after the forum, balances the work better.
