The m8 was sent to solms on its own and works fine now. i was having problems with it and the 'lux 50. the 'lux 35 hood was rammed onto the lens when i received it, sent it to solms alone and it was fixed. works beautifully on the m8. the lenses i am having problems with below 35mm although with the 35 i can get 50% ok with the magnifier on. on the m8 i don't have these issues. could it be the mag as suggested? The zi was lent by a friend for comparison purposes. Regards.

After having put film thru all these and getting them developed and printed and scanned at a pro lab, I have found the cause of my focus grief! The film was not flat within the scanner and was causing sharpness issues. Thanks for all those that replied. Now to get back to enjoying my hobby. Regards.
