Hello!

I feel I need to buy a scanner for my films. And living in Brazil and not having that money for a dedicated scanner, the 4400f seems to be the best buy for me. Have in mind that I'll pay aprox. $86 for the scanner, $50 for the shipping and plus 60% of that in import taxes.

That's why I couldn't convince myself to pay more on the Epson V500, or in the Opticfilm 7300 (wich are tempting, but would be a waste of money for me, when it gets to pay 60% more...).

I'm reading reviews all over the internet, some deep, some shallow, but I think I'm getting the sensation of what to expect. What I still need right now is to know more things like:

-is there a way to make film profiles? if i put a pro-image 200, the software will have a setup for color balance, curves and levels for it... Got the idea? How clever/stupid is the included software?
-how big is the picture on the end? 1800px?

Also... Something I really miss on these reviews is that no one cares to show how the picture got out of the scanner. They just show the final results, in 500px. Maybe someone could share a "RAW" file, and also explain his/her workflow with the scanner?

Maybe it is a lot of questions, but I had to do it...

Thank you a lot!!!
