For Joe, Post Your Most Viewed Flickr Image...

Here is mine. Taken recently. My younger daughter looking at one of Mary Pratt paintings at the provincial gallery. ZI with a 35mm C-Biogon. Tri-X in TMax developer.

So, what causes a particular image to be viewed excessively compared to your other images? If it is being used on another site, is there any way to find out what site?

I think sometimes it has to do with the title. Most of mine aren't titled; this one, with by far the most views, is called 'james kirk'. With a little thought one could probably get a massive spike in hits by titling their pics after popular Google and Flickr searches . . .

"Just look at the pictures in Flickr" kind of suggestions when newbie ask for suggestion about lens would help boost pictures tagged with said lens/camera/film.

Repeating comment… as long as the picture is not a crap to even untrained eyes, making it searchable definitely helps, especially in less populated keywords/tags
I believe many use Flickr to look for free stock photo, so keywords used for stock photo would bring effect to the view count.

I have this camera that when I asked if it qualified as an Advanced Compact in said forum, some curmudgeon pooh-poohed the size of the sensor, and said it belonged in the P&S forum. It got moved by a moderator, so since there wasn't going to be any serious discussion, I deleted the post.

So here is my most viewed photo on Flickr, 1726 so far, and it's only been on the board since May.

It might not have a big sensor, but it does the job.

BTW: The second most viewed photo is this same rig flipped over in landscape mode.
