Thank you both very much. Jamie; I took this with my old Leica M8 and I would imagine a 35mm f2 Summicron v.4 which acted as my 'standard' lens whilst I had the M8.
Peter - the colours in that first image are amazing, as is the composition. Great stuff

Houston Zoo meerkats. I'm just not well-heeled enough to afford shooting them in the wild.
These little guys are doing what comes naturally in spite of the fact that they don't have to worry about predators here.
Testing a Nikkor 400mm f3.5 lens and I think it's a keeper. Shot wide open on a Nikon F100, Kodak 400 film probably.
