Thanks, Dogman. I was experimenting with adding textures when I did these. I sometimes used textures as a method of toning monochrome images and adding grit at the same time. These look nice printed on matte textured papers too.

We had thousands of day lilies at our former house that dated to around 1790 with legacy flower beds. It was a treat to add them to a salad at the evening meal during the short season. We found that the taste varied with a 50 foot distance in beds due to different soil conditions. The peppery ones were the best. We did nothing to deserve this except occasional weeding. New England is full of old day lily beds around foundations long missing the houses that once had houses and families.
