I sometimes think that subtle colour can be as effective as the bright "in your face" form of color photography - especially if that kind of rendering matches the mood of the photo. I think in this one it does - the color palate is very limited, but somehow to me at least I like the understated way it seems to compliment the scene.
Hong Kong 2012
While this shot is really all about the subject, I like the way the bright reds, yellows and greens in the buses and signs compliment her. Especially the first two colors which in my memories have become emblematic of Hong Kong (I believe they are regarded as being auspicious and are therefore widely used.)
