I really enjoy looking at your shots of daily street life in Taipei. I happen to have a SYM HD 200 motor scooter made in Taiwan. I don't know how it ended up here in southern Arizona, but I'm glad it did. Well made, dependable, and more than pays for itself in gas savings.

But what I really like about this sort of street photography is that it gives the viewer an appreciation of daily life in a quite different culture.

Thanks again.

Hi Ted,
Thanks for the nice words about the photos, Jenlan Temple is the center of this little town Dajia, about 2.5 hr train ride south of Taipei, a night market across the street was full of interesting food and people...

San-yang Motor Company (SYM) was related to Honda Japan (so the reliability has its traditions), producing motor cycles in Taiwan since mid 60s, their yearly production now is 600,000 motor cycle/ scooters,
There is a US importer/ distributer based in US Southeast since 2002, I think that's how your HD200 ends up in Bisbee...
HD200/EVO is a great looking motor cycle (it's never called a 'scooter' here) and very popular among young people.
