I never met her. I saw her on the beach, walking by the water's edge, and I was transfixed, in rapture, by the way she moved and the glory of that sarong. I made just the one exposure: it blazes in my memory as if it were yesterday.
The waves of emotion I feel just seeing this photo again, forty-eight years later, I cannot describe.
