This is ancient history for me--almost a cave drawing. I made this photo of Spanish moss in the Atchafalaya Basin swamp of southern Louisiana around 1989 or 1990. I was on an assignment for a story on the ecology of the swamp. The moss has a haunting beauty about it. I probably used a Nikon F2 or F3, a 300mm Nikkor lens and some form of Fujichrome for the photo.
