Found first lens for my new M6

Hello all,

I found a New "Old Stock" Summicron 50 in chrome on *bay and won the auction. I can't wait to get the camera so I can start shooting with it. The lens is here in my home city so I hope to pick it up tomorrow.

You know I have not been this excited about a camera purchase before. They were all just tools to do a job ever since I was a kid. Basically photography has always been a job for me. I started as a Newspaper and Yearbook photog in High School and now shoot part time wedding and portrait work. I am actually excited about useing this camera for both myself and for work.

Congratulations Mark. Nobody ever got shot for buying a 50 'cron 🙂 - great lenses. I am certain you will enjoy it and the M. You just need to realise that you are at the head of the slippery slope - so many wonderful lenses and then there are back up bodies to consider, then half cases, straps ............😀
