Last saturday, at a local flea market in Zürich, i found some old photobooks filled with travel photography of an unknown autor.

No name, no dates, just some info on the locations here and there...

I guess the photos are taken with a 35mm camera, cause most of the pictures are 3:2 ratio, so sometime later than 1930.
On the other side, looking at the peoples clothing and the landscapes (there are some pictures from Ancona Italy), they must be older than 1950...
Most of the pics are snapshots, pure turistic stuff. But some of the Holland pics are just great.

I will try to scan some more, but it's not that easy as most of the prints are glued into the book, and i don't want to damage it.

I have no clue how to find out more about the photographer, any ideas?

The flickr-link is false and will lead to a Serbian website.:confused::confused:

I visited that flickr site and most of the Dutch prints have a town stated on the front ("Marken" and "Volendam").
The Italian prints look like possibly Monte Cassino, but it seems to be too small for it. But could also very well be a part of Spain if you ask me.

The ones with names on them look like old postcards to me, is there perhaps more info on the back of the prints?

The pictures are a bit hard to date since the persons are wearing traditional costumes.

Here is a link with more old pictures from Volendam. They're taken in 1906 (I think) and they look older but the costumes look the same...
