or broke nice person in the US...
I have an Epson 2400 sitting around not being used and can send it to someone for the price of shipping. I am pretty sure I can find most of the accessories including film holders and software disks. It worked fine last time I used it, but I warn you it is not quite as good as a Tango. I think it only scans 35mm negs and slides.
I would want to be paid for shipping - I'll send it in the original box if possible - so I'll ask for estimated shipping up front via Paypal and I'll refund any excess.

Then my work here is done and I am off to bring happiness and good cheer to other needy citizens!
(Truth is I am quite selfish and need the space!)

Well, isn't THAT the best thing: selfishness which makes others happy

Got the scanner last week, set it up today, and after some messing around, I came out with a 2400 ppi scan of a window! Although this might be somewhat impractical for the crappy shot i took, the last photo scanner I borrowed from a friend a few years back capped out at 300 ppi... What an improvement!!
I would love to put the photo up (for Yashica fans, etc.) but the file is... well, 2400 ppi...
I'm so happy about this because I want to stay away from just flickr uploads, and hopefully make some prints outside of just my darkroom.
So, once again,
Thank you so much, gdi, the scanner is great!
