Fuji GF670/ Bessa 667 review

mgd, thanks. Do you shoot mainly BW and do you find a substantial difference compared to what you get from a 35 mm such as the M6?

I shoot mainly B&W and develop myself. Studio 58 on Pasong Tamo ext. Can do B&W but quality is extremely variable.

I find a huge difference in shooting any medium format camera over shooting a 35mm camera. I like the Leica's and the glass I have but my preference is always to shoot 120 film instead of 135 film.

Are you selling Jon? What you got for me? :D

What you need? :D

I know you tell your wife you come here for work, but we know why you really come to Japan - for the GEAR ;)

My apologies, I'll stop interrupting your thread now.

BTW now that I've had a chance to shoot some 120 film myself, I can understand your preference for that format over 135. The quality is soooo much better.

My company is starting to think the same... :)

I need a new shutter for my Crown Graphic, a chrome 0.58 M7, a new printer, a new study for all my gear....... LOL...

Seriously I want to see more pics from the Bessa III I'm very near into getting one but the MP in the classifieds is really distracting me .....

We could meet up (with Gilo) when I come back from Japan, I can also show you some prints :)

I'm sure you can Denmark, that’s as long as you don't mind associating with the outcasts... :)

Mike, I had no idea that Voigtlander/Bessa had put out a 667 other than their folder released a couple of years ago. I'm looking at these images you've uploaded and the lens looks outstanding. I've been shooting MF with a Fuji BLG690 plus a Pentax 67. I previously was shooting a Bronica ETRS 645.

Like you I prefer the images from MF over 135. I'll have to keep a look out for a copy of this camera. I'd like to heft one around and look thru the viewfinder. I appreciate your time taken for the uploaded photos and write up!

Just did a quick roll with the 667W this morning. I had to go and stock up on more 120 film (Tmax-2 400). This is developed in HC 110 1:60 for 12.5 min
