Fuji GW690III repair

I am trying to repair a Fuji GW690III with a shutter that will not fire. It seems that the mechanism activated by the film advance lever is unable to cock it, so I need to lift off the top cover to see if I can do something. But how do I loosen the film advance lever? Is there anybody who can tell me?

Does that mean that the upper part of the lever is srewed on?

This is a common problem w/ these cameras, and all medium format rangefinders seem to have issues around shutter cocking/film transport. That's a large piece of film to pull thru the camera. If it were me I'd sell the camera as-is, or send it to a reputable shop to be repaired.
