There's some great shots in this thread. I love the look of Acros. I have a roll right now in my R2A. I've just started doing my own development with D76, but I'll have to try some others suggested here. I love that creamy look. Any suggestions?

Wow, those photos are almost a year old. I need to load some Acros 100 into my Rollei again soon.
Melanie, I like your Rollei / Acros shots very much. What developer did you use?

Most of the photos on my Flickr links above show in the title which developer I used, and the dilution, time and temp.

I was passing Silverprint today so I bought a few rolls. Will hopefully be shooting some and processing in Xtol over the weekend.

I had these developed by a lab, so unfortunately I don't know.

I'll be finishing up my first test roll tomorrow (weather willing) I have ID-11 mixed up so will likely run it in that.

Has anybody had experience with Acros in Ilfosol S?
I've just shot my first roll of 120 Acros and planned to develop it in Ilfosol S, but upon seeing the results here I'm very tempted to try it with Xtol.

Acros 100 (120 roll film) shot at 100.
I agree, wonderful film ... my favorite is still Delta 100 or 400, but Acros 100 is undoubtedly among the top, whether 135 or 120.
Neopan Acros 100 here (120 though), Ilford DDX :

Are you rating it at 100 or 80?
I bet Acros would look smashing in divided D76 (if the emulsion is thick enough to soak up enough developer)
thanks,

I finally got around to shooting a couple of rolls of this over the weekend. The weather was very overcast, but still bright enough to use it at box speed. My conclusion is that I now have a new favourite film, processed in Xtol it looks absolutely beautiful. I can't wait to try it in 120 format.

I think in this case it works well with those highlights, yes. I also think if you had shortened the time, or closed down to compensate for the highlights you would have lost too much shadow detail.
I shot a couple rolls of Acros in my Hasselblad last night up around Point Bonita (special night access!) and then around the Marin headlands until about midnight (for those who are not San Franciso locals, this is part of the Golden Gate National Recreation just north of the Golden Gate Bridge). Interesting, swirling high level fog with some cool looking light "pollution" on the horizons and such. 4-6 minutes exposures. Might be interesting. Will post images later.

Where do you apply for 'special night access'?

First time reading this post, but you guys have really got me curious now.
I have to go buy a few rolls of this to try. I may like the look of this better than FP4 Plus.
Magus - Since we normally have common tastes in lenses. What did you think of it?

I'm feeling bad due to my tardy response as far as Acros goes. I started this thread, got some great responses/advice and went out to buy three rolls of it, 35mm, to give it a whirl....I still haven't!!
I've been planning to get some night images of suburban landscapes with it but still haven't had the time...or rather set the time aside.
I will get this underway and post my results and thoughts too...a promise as much to myself as anyone else! I've been enjoying viewing other peoples results recently though and its this that has hardened my resolve to get off my backside.
