The engraving is made up of the two Kanji symbols, wabi and sabi. The two together, wabi-sabi, is a term commonly used in Japan to represent a philosophy that involves appreciation for the beauty in simply, humble, or imperfect things.

very!!
having made the decsion up front to use only the fuji af lenses i have not been tempted to look around at other gear.
my biggest problem is i always want to take it all with me and it's too much for me...
i look forward to getting the 27 pancake and mounting it on the x-e1...and carrying just that!
