B&H just updated their "Expected Availability" to March 7!
It will be cool hearing from users.
I emailed precision to cancel my pre-order.

Does the Fuji X-Pro 1 have image stabilization of any kind?

Not that I have read of. But with a usable ISO 6400 do you really need it?

Seems like there is no shortage in Japan. Does this mean that people who bought to sell will have to discount it? Maybe it will be like X100. No shortage at first..

He also was just wanting to allow all of our other pre-order customers a step up in the line. Such a nice fellow.
(If you end up wanting to find an X-Pro1 eventually, let us take care of you jskjsk)

I sure hope so...

I will definitely order from you guys once I have things sorted.
How is the pre-orders btw? Long line? Did you hear anything from Fuji?

I'm very excited about this camera. I have one pre ordered at Precision, but I'm mainly a 35mm lens guy and there isn't one available for it yet. So......any word on the M mount adapter?
Thanks

You may not need it, exactly, but the OM-D's IBIS would be nice to have - as with high ISOs, it's another tool in the belt.

Then why not just save some coin and nab an X100?

This is bogus. End of March.
Why do you say that?

The pre-order line has been pretty much the same for the last few weeks, it's a nice wait but we expect to be able to fulfill all orders within a month or two. Really just depends on how Fuji ships and how many we get at a time. No official word from them, but last we heard from that end of the line is the end of this month. I don't know about this mid-March stuff everyone's tossing around, but they could be right. It's anyone's guess at this point.

B&H will be filling their first in line pre-orders at that time. Anyone on that list will be waiting a while, as they are in the thousands on their waitlist. I don't think anyone besides Fuji knows what the release date is at this time. B&H can claim whatever expected availability they want, because they really can't say for sure.

Look like you are right, their expected availability has been pushed back to March 28

I haven't seen any substantial reviews of the Fuji X-Pro1 yet. I suspect it is too early to tell whether "orbs" are a problem with this camera as they are with the Fuji X10. Has anyone heard anything on this topic?
