Hi all,
I'm a newbie here and a complete newbie when it comes to camera repair. I recently bought a Fujica V2, it's a beautiful camera but needs some repair. I've been doing some reading on here and other forums, so I have a few ideas but before I proceed I'd like to pick your brains please.
So far from what little testing I have been able to do. The meter appears to work but the aperture blades are stuck in the stopped down position (looks like f/22). Unfortunately you cannot see that in the photo below. The focus needs some adjustment as the ghost image appears to be out of alignment vertically. Also as you can see, the perspex (or what ever plastic is used) cover for the viewfinder is damaged. If possible I'd like to fix these 3 issues. From what I've read, the aperture blades are likely to be the easiest fix as it does not involve removing the top assembly.
My first question is a lens wrench necessary to remove the front element? I presumed that it would twist off in some way, I tried anti-clockwise and clockwise and I couldn't get it to budge without risking damaging it. I later noticed two small holes on the front, which is perhaps to accommodate a lens wrench? A lens wrench would probably cost more than the camera is worth in its current condition but if needed I may buy one as camera repair is something I'm interested in learning. I would appreciate some pointers on what type of lens wrench to get. I've looked on ebay and there seem to be a few options (I'm in the UK).
Thanks.

No advice unfortunately, but that is one pretty camera. It'd be a shame to ruin it, so be careful as you head forward in your repair.

Hi, did you get the front of the lens off ? If not, and you are still interested in getting it off, use the two little holes in the black lens ring with two little screwdrivers or a specialised tool. Turn anti-clock-wise until it rotates off completely.
