Hello,

Is there any shop selling Fujichrome 64T (RTPII) 120 films, preferably within NA and EU?

I did a search on Flickr and was amazed at the quality of the images (, especially the ones taken at night and of autumn leaves). In case there is none (which is most likely), please let me know possible alternatives. 🙂

Bests,

Can't find it at any of my sources on the net, but B&H still lists the 135 version, so it won't be gone all that long, perhaps a phone inquiry to pro shops not selling online might be successful.

In any case, Provia 100F is even more forgiving concerning reciprocity (i.e. long exposure colour casts), and had already replaced tungsten films in many of their former applications - which more often were reciprocity than colour balance related. When 64T was pulled Fuji recommended switching to Provia (with a tungsten to daylight filter where appropriate).

64T was discontinued a while back. It was a lower contrast film compared to most slide films. Kodak also made a 64 speed tungsten film that had similar rendition. They were great for photographing art, gave very accurate color.

Thanks a lot for sharing this, Christopher. May I also say that your website's technical content is very easy to understand and it is full of useful advices. 🙂

Thanks for the offer, Tony. I'm looking for the 120 film version though. Anyway, if I need 35 mm, I'll contact you. 🙂

I used to prefer 4x5 Fuji 64T for photographing commercial Architectural projects. Reciprocity characteristics were excellent. Daylight was easy to accomplish with an 85B and I preferred the results to the other available Daylight emulsions.
