Fujifilm Wonder Photo Shop NYC

They should open one in Seattle, hipster central, then I'd be able to check it out. Hey, perhaps I could bring in my Fujica 605n to see if they can obtain a replacement part for the 55mm f2.2 Fujinon. (Sure, like the staff there has even seen or handled a 35mm film camera)

It was mostly Instax / Print based, but they do have a display case with every Fuji model and lens in the back. Honestly, they are trying to capitalize off of Instax's popularity.

Thanks,

do they also present
- their standard films
- photobooks made on real (silver-halide) photo paper (they are market leader with this paper, and have introduced new papers for that in 2012; in Europe the market for that was growing in the last years).

Skiff, I didn't see that at all. They do have photo books, but I can't imagine they would ever provide the paper you are looking for in a place like this since they didn't even sell roll film (that I saw anyway).

Thanks.
So it would make much sense for all New York film shooters to permanently visit the shop and ask for standard film in formats 135, 120 and sheets to demonstrate the demand.
Fuji was forced by demand to increase their Instax portfolio. Same can happen with standard film. Big companies like Fuji or Kodak are kind of market opportunists: If demand is rising, they become active again.

Oh, by the way, same is of course valid for all the other new Fujifilm stores in other cities and countries (just seen there are even more):
