Fujifilm X100V - Images

Absolutely love your captures, Mike! How do you like the V so far as to low light and high iso captures? I ended up selling the X100F in favour of the RX1Rii (different concepts, I know) mainly for how much better the RX1Rii renders low light (same as the A7Rii basically). But usability wise the X100 series to me is hard to beat.

Thank you, umcelinho, I enjoy using my Fujifilm X100V very much.

I’m not much of a lowlight photographer, by the time the sun goes down I’m usually home sipping a glass of wine. However, I did use my old X100F indoors at ISO 1000 at the Otsuka museum of art in Shikoku earlier this year and it performed well enough for me. I have to imagine the X100V would do the same or better.

In the distance I saw a man walking two beautiful Golden Retrievers. I figured I'd just stay put and let them come to me. This could be a good picture. As they got within range of a nice photograph one of the dogs started acting a little funny.

A dog has to do what a dog has to do.

Time to move on down the road.

Hiking part of the Nakahechi trail in Wakayama Prefecture, Japan.

The rain was supposed to stop... it didn't.

I had an umbrella in one hand, a walking stick in the other and somehow I managed to hold and shoot with the X100V too!

And, every time I looked through the viewfinder it would instantly fog up. But it was worth all the trouble to get these pictures.

After about two hours of walking the the trail we arrived at the Kumano Hongu Taisha Grand Shrine.

Out of the fog there it was... Oyunohara!

This torii gate is huge! To be more precise it's 33.9 meters tall, 42 meters wide and weighs 172 tons. Very impressive!

They say it's the largest torii gate in the world.
