I'm working in a Epson Expression 10000XL- Photo scanner. I'm impressed with the quality but, I wonder why the high qualified designers at EPSON didn't think in film holders that let you scan full frame.

Does anybody round here knows how to do it? I mean, scan 35 mm full frame in an EPSON scanner.

I'm curious as to what you mean. I just ordered a V100 Epson, and am curious as to what limitations it might have with frame sizes, besides the budget feature set of the unit.

The film holders doesn't allow you to scan out of the image frame itself, the borders. And if you have a camera that expose bigger that the regular 35 mm, like a Leica GIII, you will loose that part. It's terrible if you use to show the borders when you print.

Gotcha

Thanks for the explanation. Have you checked for 3rd party offerings?

I think the one I ordered doesn't have removable film holders, only a built-in six frame / 3 slide holder.
