G1/G2 viewfinder haze?

Has anyone experienced viewfinder haze in their G-bodies? Mine definitely could benefit from some kind of service for this.... anyone have a DIY solution for it?

Could be age, or just the way these are. The finders aren't great. You'd have to compare to a new one to be really sure yours has a problem.
