G2 and slide film

i am about to start using my G2 with slide fim for landscape shots after selling my Bronica RF645 is there any tricks i should know or can i expect things to run smoothly.

As far as I can tell - and happy to be corrected - the G2 takes a centre weighted vertical slice as opposed to a centre circle for its metering...so adjust accordingly. I only shoot neg film (b&w and c41) but have only found metering issues where I've tried to out-guess the G2...these days I trust the metering implicitly and have never had any issues whatever the circumstances....

80% of my colour photography with the G2 is on Sensia or Elitechrome, exposure is spot on within the limits of center weighted metering.

I set ISO to 320 with Kodak 400UC (1/3 stop over exposure) on the G2, but you might find another slight exposure compensation better suited for the slide film you will use.

My G2 is spot on and the slides look just awesome! You will definetely be wowed when you see them the first time - they are contrasty and pop on the light table. I believe that the G2 was made for slide film😀

I second everything said here. I use my G2 on vacations, when I shoot slide film exclusively -- Kodak E100G and Fuji Astia. Results have been superb. And like the other respondents, I have found the metering very accurate.

You''l get wonderfull results with the G system. Even if you not taken care of exposure you get more or less good exposed slides
