G2 finder, is this normal with the G90?

Does anyone else have a problem (annoyance?) of a badly flaring finder on the G2 with the 90 is attached? Could mine be in need of a good scrubbing, or "do they all do that"? Love the 90 (more than i thought I would), but the finder is all but impossible to use for back- and side-lit subjects. :eek:
 
Hi Matthew. My viewfinder flares a bit if I look into the sun, but that's it. I suspect you need to clean the glass. That means you will have to lift the top. I can email you the pages of the repair manual showing you how to do that (without instructions it seems a hazardous job).

Flares as there is no tomorrow with 90mm on both of my copies. S:(

Jan, would you please forward the repair manual to me as well?
