Not every photo of a child needs to be tack sharp 🙂
^^ completely agree with this.
I use 2 TLRs and a GA645 and I must say I find using TLRs better for my kids' photos. Just close the lens down, get down on the knees and wait for that priceless expression, the photos are very candid as they are not aware of it. OTOH, the big Fuji in their faces makes them conscious, I still get a lot of keepers but the point of view is not the same. Finally, I just love square for portraits, nothing comes close.
