Hi All,

My Wife and I are going to New York for 5 days in May. Neither of us have been before, and we're likely to be mostly eating, walking and looking at pictures...

I know lots of people here are from there. Has anyone got any recommendations of places to go to look at great photography?

Many Thanks!

It's ALL there. Throckmorton specializes in Latin American photography, and Nailya Alexander shows Eastern European, for example. If you can be more specific on what your interested in you will get much more useful answers.
This is the most useful guide that I have found: https://photographmag.com/
I recommend a walk around the Chelsea galleries then stroll the High Line http://www.thehighline.org/. Then do the 57th St galleries on another day. If lesser known, more modern photography interests you, check the Brooklyn galleries. DUMBO is a worth some time, too.
I hope this helps.
Have fun.

Thanks very much for the pointers! That gives me some good info to get going with... Shame about the New Photography show at MoMA.
It's going to be excellent 🙂
