Gallery Picks for the week ending Mon 29th November 2010

Thank you for the mention
Late to the party partly `cause there are so much good stuff and also I don`t have the artistic vocab to do any of them justice.
So I`ll just say that I like Tim Barkers Kyla5, MGeary Taxi Cab ,Frank P`S tableau (and here I will stick my neck out and say that it reminds me of Caravaggio) and Paul`s lovely warm portrait .
There are more of course.
I never seem to see so many photographs that I like ,all in one place anywhere else.

Thanks M2Fan 😀

Difficult not to score one or two good shots in that location,

One of my favourites is the psychadelic nude, but its nws, so I won't repost it. The girls in the dance class is great, and Petronius shot with the converging horizontals makes me shiver - great stuff!

i didn't go through the gallery this week, but god-dam is this a hell of a photograph

perfect motion capture of the subject, great rain, wonderful surroundings. blade runner meets gene kelly.

Thank you Paulfish and Bike_Tourist. I registered in this site way back 2008 and this is the first time I made my own gallery. This will definitely encourage me to put more photos in and contribute.

Thanks for the picks Leica M2 fan, filmfan, Harry, Luigi, Mike and Poul

The separation of the three openings makes the image so pleasing. It's as though it is a painting and the 3 circles had been planned all along. Excellent.
In order to maximize separation I hide the areas were one surface structure were changing to another.

BTW this makes scrolling fun 😀

Haven't been all the way trough this weeks gallery entries yet 😱

This one is so dynamic. The fine branches reach up quickly somehow and the foreground jumble adds a sense of movement, almost rotation, all such a contrast to the main subject. I keep coming back to it.
