It's gratifying to see this thread still bringing people enjoyment after all this time ... I think in the three years I've been here it's only missed a few weeks!
I was worried that it would struggle without Pitxu's input but as it turns out it has it's own life and really needs no one person to maintain it's success ... just great images!

Agreed.
Jon fought to promote photographs and image based discussion on this site alongside the other, well established, attributes of RFF. This thread owes it 'life' to those that join in every week ( admittedly not me for far too long ) but Jon worked very hard to ensure it didn't disappear.
