Leica M2 Fan. Thanks for the mention, much appreciated.

Most of the already posted pictures are very compelling, especially Marduks Fishermen on the beach series. I also like:

Yes, these images are really nice, and they take us beyond "which lens was used" to the creativity of some of the finest RFF photographers.

Keith, thanks for the nod...
This weeks picks are Killer-Good
;)

Always a pleasure photony!

It's gratifying to see this thread still bringing people enjoyment after all this time ... I think in the three years I've been here it's only missed a few weeks!

I was worried that it would struggle without Pitxu's input but as it turns out it has it's own life and really needs no one person to maintain it's success ... just great images!

For me this thread is the heart of RFF.

Let's not forget that it was Jon Claremont who stubbornly kept this thread going, even when it would only get as little as eight replies.
Thanks Jon, wherever you are.

Agreed.

Jon fought to promote photographs and image based discussion on this site alongside the other, well established, attributes of RFF. This thread owes it 'life' to those that join in every week ( admittedly not me for far too long ) but Jon worked very hard to ensure it didn't disappear.

Some impressive images in this weeks thread.
