I like this. The headless and armless model, the car in the door reflection, done in b/w. All works together for me.

Not to take away from cosmonaut, but this is a style that reminds me of Tuna. He seems to have an eye for this type of photo. I wish I did. Thanks for the 'eye' and for sharing cosmonaut.

My favourites from the Gallery this week - and what a week...

x-ray - Nazi youth. This amazing series is compelling, sad, and frightening. Courageous documentary photography.

semrich - untitled. Exceptional panning shot.

memphis - Delta People. I liked both the portrait and the tonal control.

huntjump - Waterstriders. Strong, despite - or maybe because of - the mis-focus.

Mlehrman - Jerry. Character, and the link to the backstory is worth the visit. The strong processing reminded me of a pencil drawing, which I think suits the subject.

Paulfish4570 - from our niece's wedding. This is one of those delightful moments at a wedding when kids are being kids, with the princess bride.

c.poulton - Greenwich Park Couple. The girl looking out of the frame made it special.

Luiman - untitled. Compositional balance, tonality and texture.

valdas - a driver. Love that kitten! There have been some great cat shots in the Gallery recently..

portktaco - austin feb 5. I liked all the shots in this series.

hteasley - Russ. Thoughtful portrait with beautiful bokeh.

BlackCamera~S.Smyth - Mirrors and Doors. Sensuous.

OurManInTangier - Commute. Excellent triptych of what used to be a universal commuting experience, although iPads may put and end to the rustle of papers.
