Because I can !
Hi everyone,
My name is Rob, and I'm from the Netherlands. I'm a recovering zuikoholic, and I'm getting my new used yashica 35 GSN in two day's. How long does it usually take to develop a new addiction?
Can't wait, sooo exited.

Well... Shorter than developing a roll of film, nowadays
Anyway, enjoy your Yashica. You will LOVE that machine, i bet you will. Just load it with a battery, a roll of film, and you can beat any Leica shooter

They still make a battery for that camera? I use to own one 15 years ago and it was a bit unconventional. If so, and I'm sure you wouldn't have bought the camera without checking, you may want to by a spare battery or two.

Oh yes,
included with the camera are 4 spare batteries and an adapter. I guess I'm safe until late 2012.

Both the px28A )alkaline) and PX28S(i think) (silver-oxide) work in the camera but their diameter/length is smaller than the original so you'll have to put in some "padding". No big deal, really. You can use tin foil, cardboard, nuts&bolts, whatever you find.

Hi Rob, I'm also a new yashica fan here with my yashica electro GSN and I can say that this camera is fantastic I'm very satisfied with the results.

Well, it (the GSN) has arrived. It's one hefty apparatus. The camera breathes quality, and it's in near mint condition. The viewfinder is nice and clear. There's one small thing I didn't like much, and that's the position of the focus ring. It's too close to the camera's body. Well, maybe I have to get used to that.
