Analog Enlightenment
I haven't posted here in quite a while, but a recent interaction with Gfeller Casemakers has prompted me to sing their praises.
I've had one of their large Moleskine notebook covers since 2008 (http://www.gfeller.us/notebookcovers.html). In that time I've taken it to several countries (see trip report: http://rangefinderforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=69407 ) and throughout the Pacific Northwest (Seattle).
One of my purposes in buying this was to use the crap out of it, and then pass it down to one of my kids. Unfortunately, a new dog we adopted got into my bag and thought it would be an excellent chew tow.
Anyway, I emailed Gfeller and they asked me to send in the remains of the cover. Today I heard back from them and they are sending me a new notebook cover free of charge and Steve the Leather artist is looking into doing something special with what remains of the cover.
The moral of the story, Gfeller is a fantastic company to work with. If you're in the market for a new Moleskine cover, check them out.
