good deal for nikon screw mount fans?

If I had the $ I'd go for that. But then I have no self-control. :)

If this is an early lens, there is a slight chance that it might be incompatable with LTM. I found this while googling (credit given):

BTW, not all Canon thread mounts are compatible. A number of variations
were produced until about 1952. According to Peter Dechert ('Canon
Rangefinder Cameras 1933-168') Canon made some of the mounts with so much
play that they could be attached to both the J thread cameras and the LTM
cameras, in spite of the J pitch being 1.1mm (Leica - 0.977mm) and the J
throat diameter being nominally about 0.5mm less than Leica's. After 1952
apparently both Nippon Kogaku and Canon realized that the Leica's flange
pitch was 26 threads to the inch, and not 1.0mm exactly. This 1.0mm pitch
was used mainly in the late 40's.

IMO it's a great deal and anyone looking for a LTM 35mm lens should jump on it. I have three 35's already or I'd be tempted.

Canon, headquartered in Tokyo, is a Japanese company that specializes in imaging and optical products, including cameras, photocopiers and computer printers.

The company was founded in 1933 with the name Seiki-kougaku-kenkyuujo (or Precision Optical Instruments Laboratory) by the co-founder Yoshida Goro and his brother-in-law Uchida Saburo, funded by Takeshi Mitarai, a close friend of Uchida. Its original purpose was to research into the development of quality cameras. In June 1934 they released their first camera, the Kwanon, named after the Buddhist goddess of mercy. The following year the company name was changed to Canon in a more modern reflection of the name.

It is a late Nikkor with the Black ring, the F3.5 version. It is a copy of the 3.5cm F3.5 Elmar. O "decent" performer, especially down at F8. The black ring makes it "uncommon". It is a good price, but not as sharp as the F2.5 (or 1.8).
 
I wish it was the f2.5 at that BIN price. the
f 2.5 is my favorite, even Joe would like it, and it is not a Canon lens.
 
3.5 is a bit slow for me to jump. I've got 4 35mm lens for my leica kits and none for my S2. There was a 1.8 a while back, not sure what it went for. I do love my 105 in LTM, it is a FUN lens.
