well, i just stuffed my old domke 5xb with a fuji x-pro1...18/35 lenses...x-20 flash...cleaning cloth, business/sd cards...ipad mini, klipsch ear plugs and my passport.
small and unobtrusive...

now, some socks, t-shirts and gaunch in my overnight bag and i'm ready to rock & roll...

i love travelling light.
 
Wouldn't it a fit in the retrospective 5 Joe. That's if you still have it. I had the 5xb for ages and used it only a handful if times and with less gear than that. Went to a photo show last week and returned with the Retro 5.
 
i think it would fit in the retro 5 and i do still have it...along with the retro 7...maybe i'll repack...:)
i also have the billingham L2 on the way and am hoping it shows before wednesday...and i ordered a porteen bag as well...about the size of the 5xb but much nicer looking...leather front etc. and will use that if it shows before i leave but that's doubtful...it has been an explosion of bags!
 
re-packed it all into the retro 5...the tt is slightly bigger than the 5xb and does not have the zippered top...everything fits in just a bit easier and the tt looks so much nicer...so unless something new arrives tomorrow it will be the retro 5 for sure.
and i think it's time to sell the domke...really don't need it anymore.
 
Had a quick try of the Retro 5 too. Fits the Xpro with 35 and hood, CV 15mm Heliar, Samyang 8mm, batteries, cards, cleaning cloth. Need to try fitting my other bits like reading spex and pills. Should be okay. Not had chance to actually go out with yet.
