i'm thinking about getting a gordy strap for my nikon d90...it has a slot attachment...on his website gordy shows how it can be done but i'm looking for some hands on feedback as to if it works comfortably or not.

i currently use very long gordies on my 2 rd1 bodies and it is a dream set-up, very comfortable.

any comments appreciated.

I've used the ring-type straps on a few slot-attachment cameras. It tends to scratch up the metal tab/slot thingy, but works well. I had the Gordy strap with the string for the GXR, and though I KNOW it's quite strong, it always felt a hair from ripping off. But that was a narrow, built into the camera body kind of P&S strap thingy. Anyway, i recall using the rubber O-rings Gordy supplies to minimize how much the metal ring moved in the slot, and that worked. If it's a user D90, I would go with comfort over a scratched up slot.

Gordy straps rock.
