This is yet another proof that one really doesn't need a Leica lens to capture excellent images. Indeed, I was going to get one of these VC 35/1.4 MC lenses myself, but settled for a 50/2.5 Color Skopar instead. Just popped my first roll into my M2 and will be going out shooting this weekend.
 
That seems to be a very nice lens.

I like the photos too, they give a nice insight into life in Japan.

I'm convinced. Love the wide open shots. Just ordered one on line. Thanks for
the help with my decision. I was concerned as to how I could afford the Leica 35mm f1.4 ASPH but this lens suits my needs just fine.

I sold my Nokton 35/1.2 and replaced it with the Nokton 35/1.4SC, I do NOT regret my move, the Nokton Classic IS a great lens!
