Wow! Some very nice work here. I like the look of the wide open and 2.8 shots particularly. Bokeh looks pretty good to me, and the colors are quite good too.

oh, thank you, i just noticed that...
well nice B/W pics~~ i really like the blue paint of "SC" on the nokton 35 classic SC, but can one really tell the difference between SC and MC?

As far as I know, that is the only way to tell the difference between the two lenses.
I mainly shoot B&W so I went for the SC version. This is a super lens, very happy with it but the tabs (Dog Ears) on the aperture ring I find a bit fiddly.

Well-known
it is a great idea making this thread.
it shows that 35 nokton is really good lens - many were talking about it barrel distortion - yes it is there - but it isnt disturbing at all.
i am really impressed how many interesting lenses cosina has introduced in last few years.

Thanks to all for posting these images. There are lots of really good ones and frankly that's what has been lacking in the photo's I've seen taken with this lens so far. (Too many "this is my desk" "this is my cat" images)
Dang it...now I'm heading for a spendin' spree....

well, flickr has a lot of samples, but most of them are not wide open
actually i believe from f2.8 it start to becoming stunning, and even @f1.4 it's acceptable
i got just Canon 8800F to scan the pics myself, i saw someone using M8 and the pics are sharper but still the color cannot match film
