It has a single curtain focal plane shutter, 1/10 - 1/1000. Removable ground glass panel, 4x5 inch format. Removable 178mm f/2.5 Aero Ektar lens, Foldable Newton viewfinder. Heavy body casting, stylish and ergonomic handle. No idea of the maker. Would like to know more.

Yes, could be a Fairchild. It would have helped had they put their name on it! 😉 I have another Aero Ektar to shoot with so that has kept me from cannibalizing this fascinating object. It is possible to shoot with this camera but first I'd need to locate a compatible film holder. maybe some day...

Some great looking Steampunk cameras there. But I would run a mile before owning one - most look like they are a love child born of an illicit affair between a Dalek and a WW 2 electro- mechanical bomb sight! 😀
