Picked up a Metabones L/M to m 4/3 adaptor and mounted my Voigtlander 75mm F/2.5 on my EPL-1 and it looks and feels great
It dawns on me that I haven't done any research on using alt glass on this little camera
Can I get some advice and tips on Metering and Focusing with this Voigt 75mm?
Thanks,
Bob

Metering and focusing with legacy glass on MFT
Metering and focusing with legacy glass on MFT
All no problem. If the camera is set to either iAuto, P or A mode, it will automatically meter. Focusing - well, like on a Leica ;-) Just with the screen (or viewfinder) instead of a rangefinder! If you're using the screen, I suggest using the 10x or 14x magnification mode (don't know exactly how to activate it on the PL1, but should be explained in the manual). So here's the steps to take:
1.) Set aperture
2.) Focus
3.) Snap!
Hope that helped.

efix,
I have the camera in aperture mode and the electronic controls were not responding - I could not change the aperture using the buttons on the camera?
Did I misunderstand you?
Thanks for responding.

You are missing the concept, dude.*
1. you set the aperture on the lens.
2. Set the mode dial to A. (the camera will select the appropriate shutter speed)
3. Focus... with the lens
4. Click...
* read the manual.
