Yes, it's quite handy. I'm in no rush to buy one of these, so I think I'm done poking around trying to find one for a but until they are easier to lay hands on.

Sadly had to get rid of my Leica gear to fund awesome road-trippage, but making use of the occasion to switch to something pocketable. The GR is pretty much top of my list now. Really like what I've seen from it so far.

Anyone ordered from Adorama heard anything update from them?
I couldn't find any info anywhere. I know mine got backordered again this morning, so I cancelled it and went elsewhere.

I was looking at b&h today out of curiosity. They took down their expected date, but left their pre-order info. Looks like their initial pre-order shipment sold out FAST.. I wonder how badly they under-estimated or did Ricoh limit their pre-order shipment size?

I went to camera land inc. in NYC. Never even knew they existed until today. I ordered from Adorama on the day they opened ordering...and still didn't get the camera.
Sometimes, you have to go to the less popular stores to get a new item.

i don't know about everyone else but i'm pretty sure the image quality will be great, it's more about the usability and the handling that i'm sure more people would be interested in hearing about!
